What if there is building works required?

In many cases it is possible to remove brickworks, reposition radiators, plaster finish internal walls and even extend the opening size.

Should you require patio doors larger than the existing opening this is normally involves supporting the brickwork above the opening and removing the old lintel forming the new opening and building into position a new lintel.

"In-line" and "Tilt & Slide"

The two opening types of sliding Patio Doors are the ’In - Line' type and the 'Tilt & Slide' type based on continental design.

They have the advantage of an opening pane that can tilt inwards for secure ventilation as well as sliding back for normal use.

Sliding Patio Doors are available in PVCu, Aluminium and Timber. Both systems offer the traditional patio aspect of the outdoors and ease of opening. 

Patio doors are available in two, three and four pane configurations. They are made to measure to the exact dimensions of the required opening.
